Description
The VIBhanger-MRB Isolator is VIB‐ISO’s compact vibration reducing hanger isolator with an additional, more robust elastomeric insert. Designed to attach between a building structure and a suspended piece of equipment, piping, or ceiling, the VIBhanger-MRB will aid to reduce the vibration from mechanical, lectrical, plumbing piping systems, and ceilings through to the building structure.
Each VIBhanger-MRB is comprised of an additional, anti‐snubbing, elastomeric insert which further reduces the potential for metal‐on‐metal contact. This design increases its vibration reduction capabilities and sound dampening attributes. Additionally, the zinc-plated, high-grade steel housing is designed in order to keep the elastomeric insert in as compact of a space as possible.
The VIBhanger-MRB can be used individually or in series depending on the size of the piece of equipment, piping or ceiling requiring frequency vibration solation. All thread rod (supplied by others) is field adjustable to meet specific on‐site requirements of the piece of equipment. The VIBhanger-MRB design allows for quick, on‐site assembly requiring only basic tools for installation.
